There are so many reasons WHY you would feel overwhelmed all through the day. Is it because not everything gets done? Have you ever been that busy? SO busy that you hardly have time for yourself. There are just too many things to do that anything gets done. How to make your day more productive? No matter how much you try you cannot fulfill all the needs of a day without a plan or tips on making it to evening with at least half of the list done. Below are simple tips on how you can make your day more productive.
Prioritize.
Sometimes the reason why you never get anything done in the day is because you do not prioritize. How can you know where to start? The try harder and do more can be a default button, leaving you exhausted. Your actions can be frenetic and all your to do errands are left half done. A solution is to make a list and prioritize it on the basis of importance and urgency. Like your closet is organized but the call you wanted to make didn’t happen. Socks are organized, but…
Create a routine in the morning.
If you want to have a good day, establish a good routine in the morning. You cannot come up with a list of what to do half way through the day. Half way through the day, more things have come up and you are off course and are trying to get them all done by end of the day. Having a routine in the morning will help boost your memory and help you keep on track during the day.
One thing at a time.
Women are known to be the masters of multitasking. This is a trait only few can truly accomplish. For the rest of us, it is just easier to do one thing at a time. Even those who seem to multitask, compartmentalize their thoughts and get through each thought one by one. You can choose to do one thing and finish it perfectly or do a lot of things half ass.
Take breaks.
In the effort to be productive most people will wear themselves out and work all day and night. Working from morning to evening leaves us without the needed energy to work effectively the next day, making it a waste. This is why you need to take breaks in between work. This way you will not drift off or become redundant. Unlike you would think. The use of breaks increases productivity.
Manage or budget your time.
Most of the time we can go through all these steps and still fail at productivity. You will notice that you achieve more if you set a goal and allocate a given amount of time for it. When we are doing something, especially something we enjoy, the time can fly and we can fail to notice the number of things left to do.
